Room Controls

I designed the Hilton Honors app's in-room controls: mobile key for the door, check-in and check-out, a TV remote, room controls for temperature, lighting, and shades, sleep schedules, and the ability to manage multiple rooms at once for guests traveling together.

Overview

The app went from a loyalty card to the only remote guests need.

Before this, the Hilton Honors app was mostly for booking a stay and checking loyalty points. Adding mobile key, check-in and check-out, a TV remote, and full room controls, temperature, lighting, shades, and sleep schedules, turns it into something guests actually open during their stay, not just before it. Guests traveling together can also manage more than one room from a single phone. Mobile app adoption increased 40% after launch.
